Job Summary
Lead SAP S/4HANA testing efforts across Mock, SIT, and UAT for RTR, OTC, STP modules and potentially serve as Test Manager or Environment/Data Lead. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, coordinating with functional teams and stakeholders, managing test environments and data, logging and tracking defects (Jira, SolMan, HP ALM), providing regular status and risk reports, supporting cutover/go-live readiness, and mentoring junior testers. Requires hands-on SAP testing leadership with strong knowledge across RTR/OTC/STP areas, Experience with SAP Solution Manager and defect-tracking tools, and the ability to operate in a flexible, work-from-home-enabled environment. Manufacturing/industrial sector context (Navistar) is a strong plus. Nice-to-haves include test automation/tools and senior-level project experience.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP testing experience, with at least 3–5 years specifically in S/4HANA
- Strong functional knowledge in RTR (Financial Accounting, Controlling, Closing, Reporting) or OTC (Order Management, Billing, Credit Management) or STP/PTP (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory)
- Proven experience leading Mock, SIT, and UAT cycles in large-scale SAP implementations or upgrades
- Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), test management tools, and defect tracking systems
- For Test Manager role: Prior experience managing testing teams and overall test strategy
- For Environment/Data Lead: Strong background in test data management, environment configuration, and integration support
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Nice-to-Haves: Experience with test automation (Worksoft, Tricentis Tosca, SAP TAO), Basis/Integration knowledge
- SC-level or managerial experience for senior lead roles
