SAP RISE Server Management Specialist

Job Summary
SAP RISE ECS infrastructure operations: manage and support SAP systems on SAP RISE ECS, coordinate with SAP ECS teams for infra activities, monitor server health and performance, ensure availability, reliability, and security of SAP production and non-production environments; administer Linux and Windows servers, perform OS patching/upgrades, manage storage and performance tuning; handle L1/L2/L3 incidents with RCA, coordinate with SAP ECS, cloud providers, and customer teams; utilize monitoring tools and develop automation in Shell, Bash, PowerShell, or Python; support backup, DR testing, and recovery readiness; implement OS hardening, security practices, and compliance checks; execute ITIL-based change and release management; maintain documentation; collaborate with SAP Basis, SAP ECS, cloud providers, and customer stakeholders; participate in operational reviews and provide status updates; required technical skills include SAP RISE, SAP ECS, SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Focused Run, AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux (RHEL/SLES), Windows Server, monitoring/tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Nagios, ServiceNow ITSM), scripting (Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Python); strong troubleshooting, 24x7 support experience, and a customer-focused approach with adherence to SLAs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure operations
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP landscapes in SAP RISE ECS environments
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSP/MSM)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, infrastructure, and SAP-hosted environments
- Experience in 24x7 support operations and on-call rotations
- Preferred Certifications SAP Technology Associate Certifications Linux Administration Certifications (RHCSA/RHCE) ITIL Foundation Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
