Job Summary
Design and develop clean-core compliant applications in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model. Build custom business objects, OData services, and Fiori Elements apps by developing CDS views, behavior definitions, and EML implementations. Collaborate with functional teams on requirement analysis while performing unit testing, code reviews, and deployment support to ensure adherence to SAP best practices and public cloud standards. Requires 4+ years of SAP ABAP experience with a minimum of three end-to-end RAP project implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of SAP ABAP experience
- Strong RAP development expertise
- Minimum 3+ end-to-end RAP project implementations
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Public Cloud / ABAP Cloud development
- Expertise in CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
- Strong knowledge of RAP Managed / Unmanaged scenarios
- Experience in Behavior Definition, Behaviour Implementation, and Service Definition / Binding
- Hands-on experience in EML (Entity Manipulation Language)
- Strong knowledge of Fiori Elements and OData exposure via RAP
- Understanding of authorisation, draft handling, actions, validations, and determinations
- Familiarity with clean core and SAP extensibility concepts
- Experience with ADT / Eclipse development environment
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to BTP ABAP Environment
- Knowledge of CAP and integration with SAP BTP services
- Experience in performance optimization for RAP applications
- SAP RAP / ABAP Cloud certification
