Job Summary
Lead SAP implementation, migration, and upgrade projects across modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables while adhering to SAP best practices such as ASAP and Activate. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, conducting regular status meetings and managing expectations across organizational levels. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including consultants and business analysts, allocating resources effectively and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure quality assurance through testing and validation. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource utilization across multiple initiatives. Based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, this role requires up to 30% international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in SAP project management with at least 3 full-cycle implementations
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to cope in a complex and fast-changing business environment and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation
- Works independently on complex processes and modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems
- Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally
- Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues

Desired Qualifications
- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification preferred
