SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant

Job Summary
Create detailed production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize sequences to minimize lead times while managing inventory levels and conducting physical counts. Develop production plans based on customer demand, analyze capacity to determine resource requirements, and identify bottlenecks to improve utilization. Calculate material requirements for production orders, release orders in SAP, and monitor shop floor activities to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Generate reports on performance, cost variances, and inventory levels to drive process improvements. This role requires 6+ years of SAP experience and resides within Mexican territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area of study
- 6+ years of SAP experience
- Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning modules, functionalities, and configurations
- Experience in production planning processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze production issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
- Experience in managing SAP projects, including planning, implementation, and testing
