Job Summary
Confirm all necessary Mfg. SPRO configuration for the new plant and update MFG Z tables with new plant codes. Convert plant-specific master data including BOMs, work centers, task lists, production versions, and functional locations to the new plant number. Review custom functionality for hard-coded values, update jobs and variants with plant-specific settings, and test QM outputs and forms. Execute test scenarios ensuring manufacturing functionality works, then close out transactional data in the old plant and create new process orders and inspection lots at go-live. Ensure raw material inventory is in place and decide on plant-specific batch classification.

- Must convert the plant specific Mfg. master data such as BOM's, Work Center/Resources, Task Lists (Rate Routings/Master Recipes/Inspection Plans), Production Versions, Functional Locations, etc. to the new plant number.
- Review any custom/configured functionality for hard coded values.
- Update custom plant specific functionality for new plant. Example, process order COR6 confirmation parameters.
- Update jobs & variants with plant specific settings for background jobs in PP and QM.
- Review and test QM outputs & forms for new plant/cc codes.
- Execute test scenarios for the new plant/cc codes ensuring mfg. functionality works.
- Close out transactional data such as process orders, inspection lots in old plant.
- Create new transactional data such as process orders.
- Ensure raw material inventory is in place.
- Decide on plant specific batch classification and update if necessary.
