Job Summary
Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets related to SAP PP, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLA/KPI targets. Analyze production issues, assess business impact, and drive immediate corrective actions while performing root cause analysis for recurring problems. Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, MM, QM, SD, PM, and integration teams to resolve end-to-end issues affecting production planning and shop floor execution. Provide regular updates to stakeholders during critical incidents and support escalations as needed. Requires 6–8 years of SAP PP functional consulting experience and strong troubleshooting capability.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP PP functional consulting/support
- Strong experience in production support and handling P1/P2 tickets
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including MRP
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Production Orders
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Planned Orders
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including BOM
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Work Centers
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Routings
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Capacity Planning
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Shop Floor Execution
- Hands-on experience in issue analysis, troubleshooting, and functional testing
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning business processes
- Good knowledge of cross-functional integration with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PP support environment
- Exposure to PP-PI or process manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Fiori apps related to production planning
- Understanding of batch management and production reporting
- Knowledge of ITIL support processes
