Job Summary
Design, develop, and enhance SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) technical solutions within a federal SAP S/4HANA environment using Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF+, and Fiori. Configure workflows, data replication frameworks, and enterprise interfaces to synchronize master data across SAP systems and third-party applications. Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications, while performing unit testing, code reviews, and defect resolution. Support data migration, conversion, and ongoing production troubleshooting within Agile development cycles. Obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of SAP development experience
- demonstrated expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) technical development
- 5–7 years of SAP MDG technical development experience (without a Bachelor's degree)
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using BRF+
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using SAP Fiori
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using Floorplan Manager (FPM)
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using Web Dynpro
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using OData Services
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using CDS Views
- Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
- Experience configuring SAP MDG workflows
- Experience configuring SAP MDG data models
- Experience configuring SAP MDG validation rules
- Experience configuring SAP MDG derivation rules
- Experience configuring SAP MDG business rule frameworks
- Experience configuring and supporting the SAP Data Replication Framework (DRF)
- Experience configuring and supporting the SAP Data Import Framework (DIF)
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies including IDocs
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies including SOA Services
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies including Web Services
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies including APIs
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG Central Governance
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG Mass Processing
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG Data Quality Management (DQM)
- Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Business Partner
- Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Customer
- Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Supplier
- Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Material Master
- Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Financial Master Data
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives
- Experience gathering technical requirements
- Experience developing technical specifications
- Experience supporting solution delivery
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined practices
- Ability to resolve moderately complex SAP MDG technical issues with minimal oversight
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
