Job Summary
Establish and maintain SAP Basis standards, operational procedures, and technical governance frameworks while managing system architecture, configuration, upgrades, and documentation. Act as the liaison between IT Operations and Product Development to provide analytical support on complex projects, ensuring SAP environments remain secure, scalable, and highly available. Lead small teams, manage transport and batch processes, and oversee security components including certificate management across Unix/Linux and Windows platforms. This fully remote senior-level role requires 10+ years of SAP experience and is located in Minnesota.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, a related degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
- Ability to technically decompose and organize complex work
- Lead small teams to successful completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to independently evaluate projects and technical requests, architect solutions, and collaborate effectively with SAP and third-party vendors
- Self-motivated with demonstrated effectiveness in remote or hybrid work environments
- Occasional travel (5%)
- SAP Administrator III: 7+ years of relevant work experience
