Job Summary
SAP iXp Intern – Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) is an in-person 12-month internship in Newtown Square, PA, supporting SAP Data Management & Landscape Transformation. You’ll study and document existing customer engagement workflows, analyze end-to-end ROMs, risk reviews, and approval processes to identify automation opportunities, leverage DMLT tools to improve data flow, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, present data-driven insights, and assist in developing and validating AI use cases, including integrating AI capabilities into APIs and microservices; exposure to AI trends (LLMs, retrieval) and modernizing internal toolkits and estimation frameworks. Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related fields, be proficient in Python, have interest in JavaScript/TypeScript, BPMN/workflow design, Agile methodologies, and be prepared to learn and contribute in a fast-moving, project-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date within 6 months) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
- Programming: Python; familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Understanding of business process modeling (BPMN), workflow design, or Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and bias to practical application
- Clear communication and teamwork; willingness to learn from feedback
- Experience with building full-stack solutions; exposure to cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, GCP, AWS), containers (Docker), and CI basics (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP technologies is a plus (e.g., SAP BTP AI Core/Launchpad, SAP HANA Cloud/SAP Datasphere)
- Prior involvement in student projects, hackathons, or agile teams; comfort writing unit tests and docs
- Familiarity with M&A/D concepts is an added advantage
