Job Summary
SAP iXp Intern – BTP Full-Stack Developer role focused on building cloud-native enterprise applications using JavaScript, SAP CAP with Node.js, and SAP UI5/Fiori. Responsibilities include developing and enhancing applications, building responsive UIs, integrating with SAP HANA Cloud, working with SAP BTP services (XSUAA, Destination), implementing secure flows (JWT/OAuth), contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and collaborating with senior developers to design, test, and deploy scalable solutions. Requires enrollment or recent graduation in CS/SE and in-person placement in Newtown Square, PA for 12 months with 20-40 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Min. Bachelor’s degree completed recently, or final-year student, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date within 6 months) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
- Strong programming foundation in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and API-based development
- Basic to intermediate experience with Node.js
- Exposure to SAP UI5 and/or Fiori Elements for frontend development
- Understanding SAP BTP architecture and services, especially XSUAA and Destination service
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud concepts and cloud-based data-driven application development
- Awareness of SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
- Basic understanding of security concepts such as JWT, OAuth flows, identity providers, and secure communication principles
- Knowledge of Git version control, branching, and collaborative development practices
- Understanding DevOps, automated deployment, and cloud-native application principles
