Job Summary
Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of SAP GTS solutions to meet global trade and compliance business needs. Analyze and manage import/export processes, duty calculations, and trade preferences while ensuring adherence to international regulations, export controls, and restricted party screening. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with SD, MM, FI modules and external systems, conducting testing, user training, and post-implementation support. Gather requirements from stakeholders, develop solutions, and provide ongoing expertise in risk management, product classification, and trade preference programs. Stay updated on evolving trade compliance laws to maintain system alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and configuration
- In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management
- Strong understanding of global trade processes, including export/import management, tariff calculation, and duty management
- Experience integrating SAP GTS with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI) and third-party systems
- Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations, including restricted party screening, export controls, and customs documentation
- Experience in trade preference programs and product classification (e.g., HTS codes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- SAP certification in GTS or related modules
- Experience with S/4HANA implementation for SAP GTS
- Experience working in industries with high global trade volume, such as manufacturing, logistics, or consumer goods
- Project management experience in SAP GTS deployments
