Job Summary
Lead the implementation and support of the SAP PS module by gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, and managing testing and training activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other SAP modules and external systems, while providing expert guidance to functional consultants, developers, and business users. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for PS module implementations and upgrades, acting as a liaison to troubleshoot issues and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption. Act as a functional lead for a manufacturing space project with a large SAP consulting client on a 6-month contract starting September 1, 2025, with potential extensions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Lead, with a focus on the PS module
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience leading full-cycle SAP implementations and upgrades, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PS functionality, including project structures, planning, budgeting, and cost management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing offshore resources
Desired Qualifications
- SAP certification in Project Systems is preferred
