Job Summary
SAP FICO - Finance Consultant at Deloitte New Zealand (Auckland) focused on SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling modules (GL, A/P, A/R, Asset Management, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, Margin Analysis). Responsibilities include implementation, configuration, and support; leading digital transformation initiatives; requirements gathering; solution design and documentation; testing and validation; end-user training and post-implementation support; and ongoing system maintenance. Requires 3-5+ years in SAP S/4HANA FICO, strong collaboration across stakeholders and IT teams, and familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies. Preferably SAP FI/CO & S/4HANA certification; consulting experience beneficial; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO) implementation and support
- Profound understanding of GL Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Margin Analysis
- Experience in drafting functional specifications and collaborating closely with technical teams
- Consulting experience will be a big advantage
- Sense of SAP best practices, module integration, and system performance optimisation
- Preferably holds SAP FI/CO & S/4HANA certification
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in an Agile and waterfall environment
