SAP Deputy Release Manager

Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end release lifecycle for SAP projects and related initiatives in an Agile environment. Drive on-time delivery, maintain release schedules, identify and mitigate release-related risks, and ensure quality standards. Maintain detailed release documentation and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, schedule, and execute software releases; support continuous improvement of release processes, tools, and governance practices; facilitate alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Require 5+ years of release-management experience, familiarity with SAP/ERP landscapes, and proficiency with release-management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Gantt charts). Nice-to-have exposure to CI/CD, DevOps concepts, and change-management frameworks. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. This role is with Accenture Federal Services and involves ongoing applications with compensation ranges disclosed for specific states/cities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting release management or coordinating software deployments in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Agile principles and iterative development cycles
- Experience with release management or work-tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Gantt charts, etc.)
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks, track milestones, and ensure on-time delivery
- Experience working with SAP systems or ERP landscapes (preferred but not required)
- Nice to have: Experience supporting large-scale SAP initiatives or enterprise deployments; Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps concepts, or automated release processes; Familiarity with change-management frameworks and processes; Background in risk management or release governance
