Job Summary
Deployment Release Deputy coordinates and oversees SAP software release/deployment in a fast-paced SAP program environment. Builds and maintains deployment plans, tracks milestones and dependencies, monitors schedules, identifies risks, and coordinates with cross-functional teams (software delivery, OCM, Release Management). Supports deployment strategies, standards, and best practices; maintains documentation; troubleshoots deployment and environment readiness issues; provides status updates to stakeholders; and contributes to continuous improvement. Requires hands-on release management experience, familiarity with Agile and SAP ChaRM, and ability to integrate with CI/CD workflows. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, with eligibility for US federal programs and security considerations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience coordinating complex software deployments or release management activities
- Familiarity with Agile principles, SAP release processes, and iterative development cycles
- Hands‐on experience with project tracking tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, Jira, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and release automation
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional, technical, and leadership teams
