SAP Data Governance Manager

Job Summary
Lead data governance initiatives across SAP and non-SAP environments by defining and implementing data governance frameworks, documenting data requirements, and improving data quality. Define standards, policies, metadata and business glossary terms; gather reporting requirements and translate into Power BI dashboards and analytics; support Master Data Management (MDM) and compliance initiatives. Collaborate with data stewards, IT architects, and business units; monitor regulatory compliance and governance performance; develop governance reports and metrics; assist in data model design to support enterprise reporting. Nice-to-have: experience with Power BI, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BTP, metadata management, data cataloging, and large-scale data transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or MDM, preferably within SAP environments
- Knowledge of SAP Information Steward, SAP MDG, or equivalent data governance tools
- Experience building data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and data quality scorecards
- Strong facilitation skills to work with data stewards, business process owners, and IT architects
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to enterprise data
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
