Job Summary
SAP & Corporate Systems Tech Lead — founding hands-on technical leader for SAP S/4HANA and corporate systems governance across Finance, HR, Legal, Audit, and Compliance. Build and scale the internal SAP capability, drive API-first integrations, ensure regulatory alignment (BACEN/LGPD/SOX where applicable), oversee SAP Notes adoption, Transport/ChaRM governance, security baselines, and observability. Lead by example in a high-velocity fintech environment, partner with Product Owner and external partners, and mentor engineers while delivering a clean-core SAP architecture in a fully remote LATAM context with Brazil-facing regulatory considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience in SAP Basis / SAP platform operations
- Experience acting as the internal technical authority for SAP implementation partners or managed service providers
- Strong understanding of SAP clean-core principles, API-first integration, and related trade-offs
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA landscapes, upgrades, SAP Notes lifecycle management, and production support
- Strong SAP HANA operational experience (replication, backup, recovery, performance)
- Experience with SAP transport and change governance (STMS, ChaRM, Solution Manager 7.2 or SAP Cloud ALM)
- Functional understanding of FI/CO and related SAP modules; knowledge of MM, SD, Procurement, HR is a plus
- Linux administration knowledge (SUSE or RHEL) with scripting (Shell, Python)
- Experience with cloud SAP platforms (RISE with SAP or AWS) including HA/DR, sizing, cost awareness
- Experience leading technical squads, roadmap execution, architecture reviews, and partner delivery reviews
- Regulated fintech/banking/payments exposure with familiarity with BACEN, LGPD, SOX; LATAM localization a plus
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced Spanish and English
