Job Summary
SAP Configuration Analyst responsible for supporting NYPA's SAP financial application and modules (ECC & S4 Hana); coordinates and executes recurring system maintenance, configures system functionality to meet business requirements, and tests modifications within the SAP environment. Develops test plans, coordinates testing for SAP legal compliance patches, and manages system upgrades in collaboration with end-users. Facilitates transition from implementation to post-implementation support, including training and user assistance; reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions; analyzes and resolves business-process issues with best-practice solutions. Performs data analysis, generates periodic reports, and supports process improvement and automation. Participates in small-scale SAP finance project design and implementation, provides system design and configuration support for SAP/ERP finance modules, and contributes to disaster recovery and continuity planning. Ensures IT operations alignment with ITSM processes, provides technical guidance, and coordinates with stakeholders across IT and business units. Salary range: $110,000-$137,000; Full-Time provisional status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any IT-related field or closely related discipline
- 4 years of related experience preferred
- 2 years in an applications development and support environment preferred
