SAP CML Test Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and maintain functional and non-functional test plans, cases, and scripts for SAP CML based on business requirements and technical specifications. Execute manual and automated tests across System Integration, User Acceptance, and Regression phases while identifying, logging, and tracking defects to ensure timely resolution. Apply deep knowledge of the mortgages business lifecycle to create realistic test scenarios and collaborate with Requirements Engineers, Developers, and Application Managers across Pune and Frankfurt to verify lending operations. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and provide clear reporting on test progress and defect status to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience in testing SAP Consumer and Mortgage Loans (CML) module
- Strong understanding of CML configuration, processes, and integration points
- Minimum of 2+ years in a dedicated software testing role
- Strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (STLC, SDLC)
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end mortgage lending business process, from application and underwriting to servicing and securitization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, multi-national team environment across different time zones
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with test management tools, particularly Tricentis Test
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, especially Tricentis Tosca
- ISTQB/ISEB or other relevant software testing certifications
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Experience with other SAP Banking Services modules (e.g., SAP BP, BCA) or FI/CO
- German language skills
