SAP BI/BW Developer

Job Summary
SAP BW to BW/4HANA migration and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation across BW/4HANA landscapes. Develop and optimize BW/4HANA data models (ADSO, Composite Providers), transform data flows (DTPs, process chains), and migrate legacy reports to SAC. Build and enhance SAC dashboards and planning models (DSP), ensure data governance and data quality throughout migration, and integrate SAP with non-SAP sources (Databricks, Qlik). Lead migration activities, design scalable analytics solutions, develop ABAP routines and transformations, manage transport processes, and provide post-go-live support with documentation and knowledge transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide analytics enhancements and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Information Technology or related major preferred
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW development
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAC & DSP
- Proven experience in end-to-end BW/4HANA migration projects
- Strong experience in data modeling (ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views)
- SAP HANA optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including: Story/dashboard development, Data modeling and connections, Migration of legacy reports to SAC (strongly preferred)
- Experience working with SAP ECC/S4HANA data sources and understanding business processes (FI/CO, SD, MM preferred)
- Experience integrating SAP with external platforms (Databricks, Qlik) is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP tools: SAP ECC, SAP HANA Studio, Transport Management, SAP Data Services
- Experience with Qlik is a plus
- Experience with Data Lake (Databricks) is a plus
- Experience with Advanced Data Analysis (Machine Learning, AI) is a plus
- Strong oral and written English communications skills
- Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing concepts, and data governance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional, global teams
- Experience in large, multinational enterprise environments preferred
