Job Summary
Senior SAP BASIS - Operations Manager responsible for end-to-end service delivery across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver) and supporting technologies. Own incident, problem, and change management, lead major incident responses, and coordinate L1/L2/L3 teams to restore services. Oversee SAP Basis operations including upgrades, patching, system refreshes, and performance optimization; manage SAP environments and databases (SAP HANA, Oracle). Ensure high availability, backups, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with SLAs/KPIs. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and external vendors to align SAP, infrastructure, cloud, and business stakeholders. Apply ITIL processes, drive continual service improvement, and maintain governance and security across Linux/Windows operating systems. Emphasizes customer-facing service management, governance, and operational excellence in enterprise SAP environments. Fraud awareness notice included in posting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in SAP Basis and IT Infrastructure Operations, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and other ITSM tools
- Excellent stakeholder management, customer engagement, and communication skills
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration and SAP landscape management
- Strong experience with SAP HANA and Oracle databases
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
