Job Summary
Design and develop robust ABAP solutions connecting SAP S/4HANA core with cloud agility (SAP BTP), evolving from classic ABAP to modern SAP innovations. Start on ABAP projects and progress toward S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, ABAP RAP, and SAP BTP deployments. Contribute to ECC/S/4HANA implementation, migration, and ongoing support; write technical specifications; develop interfaces (BAdI, BAPI, IDoc, RFC, OData); perform unit tests and uphold Clean ABAP principles. Grow toward CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA native development, and gain exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and ABAP Cloud. Suitable for professionals with 5+ years of ABAP experience, aiming to work on international SAP projects for major clients. Relocation to Mauritius with Occupation Permit sponsorship is provided; English is required, French is a valued asset. The role offers a permanent contract in Mauritius with relocation support and opportunities to grow in SAP technologies (S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, RAP, ABAP Cloud).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience
- Strong command of classic and object-oriented ABAP
- Experience with interfaces: RFC, IDoc, OData, Web Services
- Proficiency with the Eclipse development environment (ADT)
- Nice to have: Fiori/UI5, RAP, CDS Views, SAP BTP, S/4HANA or HANA environments, FI/CO/MM/SD knowledge
- Fluent professional English
- French is an asset
