SAP ABAP and PI/PO Consultant

Job Summary
Design, develop, and optimize custom SAP ABAP programs including reports, ALV, and interfaces while building and maintaining SmartForms and Data Dictionary objects. Implement end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO, configuring iFlows, message mappings, and communication channels for IDoc, RFC, and cloud systems. Provide L2/L3 production support by analyzing incidents, performing root cause analysis, and tuning interface performance. Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Agile/Scrum delivery models, preparing documentation and test cases.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP
- hands-on experience in PI/PO integration projects
- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (RICEF objects)
- Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO 7.4/7.5
- Good knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON
- Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture
- Experience with IDoc, ALE, Proxy, RFC interfaces
- Experience with SAP GUI, SE80, SE38, SE11
- Experience with SAP PI/PO Integration Builder, ESR, ID Transport Management (CTS)
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Adaptability to fast-paced project environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
- SAP certifications (ABAP, PI/PO)
- Experience in S/4HANA migration or integration projects
- Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
- SAP HANA (CDS views, AMDP basics)
- Experience in API management / SAP Integration Suite
- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 basics
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD in SAP
