Job Summary
Sanitor at B&G Foods (Ankeny, IA) responsible for sanitation across plant operations in compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and the Master Sanitation Schedule. Performs cleaning of machines, equipment, conveyors, floors, drains, and facilities using brushes, towels, industrial vacuum, and air hoses; operates an industrial vacuum and sweeper, manages trash and scrap, maintains clean work areas in packaging, processing, warehouse, and offices; follows safety regulations and participates in preventive sanitation maintenance, downtime documentation, and training of new sanitation personnel. Requires nighttime shift (11:00pm–7:30am) with potential OT; emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, procedural adherence, basic math, and ability to read and follow work-related instructions.
