Job Summary
Ride with drivers to pick up waste and recyclables around the Kansas City metropolitan area, recovering and disposing of materials. Clean up garbage and complete all other instructions given by supervisors or team leaders. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or until completion, with overtime possible. Requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds while operating mechanical equipment in various outdoor weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to frequently grasp, push, pull, react, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, use repetitive wrist, hand finger movements and operate mechanical equipment
- Must have clarity of vision, three-dimensional vision, precise hand eye coordination and ability to identify and distinguish colors
- May be required to lift up to 100 pounds
