Job Summary
Unload products from trucks, breakdown pallets, stack and organize items in warehouse racks; assist with sanitation, inventory checks, and order selection; operate equipment such as pallet jacks and high-lift devices; inspect for damage, verify quantities per purchase orders, and label pallets for customer orders; perform duties with safety in a multi-temperature warehouse, including lifting up to 75 lbs and working 8-10 hour shifts, weekends and overtime as needed; maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety guidelines; travel requirements vary by assignment; the role supports SpartanNash/C&S Wholesale Grocers warehouse operations across multiple distribution centers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Preferred) or equivalent preferred
- One year warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating power industrial equipment (pallet jack, high-lift, etc.) preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
- Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts, weekends and overtime as assigned
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
