Job Summary
Perform the eight steps of sanitation and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to ensure food safety and quality for SRO products. Wear appropriate PPE, work with chemicals, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while notifying supervisors of any safety threats. Lift hoses, equipment, and containers up to 50 pounds, and maintain personal hygiene in hot, cold, wet, or dry environments. Work cooperatively with other departments and stay focused in a loud, fast-paced setting. Schedule includes 12PM-8:30PM shift with mandatory end-of-week deep cleaning and overtime availability.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a flexible schedule which includes availability to work overtime
- Mandatory presence for the end of week deep cleaning
- Must have a minimal ability to read and write in English
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, and dry environment
- Must be adaptable and accountable for his/her own actions
- Must be able to take direction from lead, supervisors, and managers
- Must be able to stay focused in a loud, fast paced working environment
- Must be able to follow all safety procedures
- Must be able to work with chemicals
