Job Summary
Sanitation Worker responsible for cleaning facility areas, machinery sanitation, and maintaining food safety compliance. Duties include cleaning break rooms, offices, restrooms, and production areas; removing refuse; sanitizing floors and machinery; and documenting cleaning tasks in alignment with company procedures. May involve disassembling/reassembling machine parts for sanitation and assisting with pre-operational inspections to uphold food safety standards. Requires knowledge of food safety sanitation practices, adherence to structured cleaning routines, ability to lift 70–100 pounds, and strong teamwork and communication within sanitation leadership. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift and move equipment/product weighing up to 70–100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, stretch, step, and climb frequently
- Ability to follow safety rules, work procedures, and food safety standards
- Coordination to use tools and equipment properly
- Basic math skills for cleaning documentation and measurement accuracy
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team
