Job Summary
Sanitation Specialist at Krispy Kreme responsible for maintaining a clean, safe shop environment in accordance with brand standards, food safety requirements, and health department regulations. Supports production and retail operations by ensuring all areas of the shop are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to promote food safety, operational efficiency, and a positive guest experience. Core duties include performing cleaning and sanitation tasks per schedules, cleaning production equipment and work surfaces, maintaining sanitation logs, cleaning production and service areas, coordinating sanitation activities with teams, reporting concerns, assisting with setup and breakdown, and upholding safety, reliability, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment with varied schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Essential Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic literacy skills required.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Non-Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food service cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous job stability preferred.
