Job Summary
Sanitation worker needed for weekend shifts to sanitize and clean production areas using chemicals and cleaning tools, follow LOTO procedures, and ensure compliance with GMPs and food-safety standards. Responsibilities include disassembling and cleaning equipment, maintaining cleanliness and inventory of supplies, training staff, documenting chemical usage, participating in safety and incident investigations, and coordinating with contractors for sanitation and pest control. Requires ability to read labels in English, work in warm to cold environments, operate PIT equipment with proper training, and perform basic math. Weekend shifts: 1st Fri-Sun 7am-7pm or 2nd Fri-Sun 7pm-7am; location York, PA. Education preferred: High School diploma or GED. On-the-job training provided for SSOPs, MSS, LOTO, chemical training, GMP policies, and allergen awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Some cleaning experience required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic computer skills to include the ability to utilize email programs and complete computer-based training courses with minimal assistance.
- Education: Preferred: High School graduate or GED.
