Job Summary
Conduct production area sanitation by cleaning floors, drains, and walls while managing chemical storage inventory. Monitor and maintain overall plant cleanliness, assist with equipment cleaning using Clean-In-Place procedures, and manage exterior grounds including trash pickup. Organize cleaning tools such as mop buckets, brooms, and dust mops. Complete GMP and quality control training courses and pass forklift training to operate the equipment as needed. Lift and carry up to 60 pounds frequently. Join Darigold's Sunnyside, WA dairy plant team to support hygiene standards and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn the job within four weeks
- General understanding of sanitation and GMPs
- Must be proficient in computers
- Ability to climb and assemble and disassemble equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level and above shoulder height
- Pass Darigold forklift training
- Successfully complete GMP and other quality control training courses
