Job Summary
Maintain department fixtures and equipment cleanliness by deep-cleaning processing areas, disinfecting coolers and floors, and verifying chemical handling documentation. Apply basic product knowledge and food safety standards while organizing maintenance stock and managing pest control traps. Communicate maintenance needs and process improvements to Store Leaders, assisting customers with product location when needed. Perform all duties of a Total Store Sanitation Rep as requested. Requires 1+ years of maintenance experience, OSHA knowledge, and ability to work late evenings and overnight schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 18+
- 1+ years of experience in maintenance / sanitation
- Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines
- Basic knowledge of product, product handling, and food preparation processes
- Basic knowledge of assembly and use of department equipment for sanitation purposes
- HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Completion of Company Orientation, In-store orientation, Basics of Safety, Annual Food Handler, basic HAZMAT / Chemical Safety certifications - upon hire
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs
- Ability to work late evenings and overnight schedules
- Ability to identify types of insects or rodents and place / use pest control traps
