Job Summary
Maintain store cleanliness and safety by prioritizing floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms while ensuring food safety standards are met through SOPs. Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the store, manage maintenance room stock using H-E-B chemicals, and attend to customer needs by assisting with product location. Communicate maintenance issues to Store Leaders and perform Customer Service Assistant duties when required. Work 5.5+ hours per day with a requirement to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18+
- HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines
- Sacking skills
- Ability to take initiative and do what needs to be done
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Customer service-oriented
- Initiative; willingness to do what needs to be done
- Ability to work with customers and attend to their needs
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs
- Completion of Company Orientation
- In-store orientation
- Basics of Safety
- Annual Food Handler certification
- basic HAZMAT / Chemical Safety certifications
