Job Summary
Sanitation Team Member (third shift) at Meijer focusing on the safe CIP/COP, disassembly, cleaning, assembly and initial set-up of production equipment in the raw room, clean room, can room, and other production areas. Responsibilities include following GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and SQF documentation; learning proper chemical use and storage of sanitation chemicals; employing proper cleaning techniques and PPE to maintain a safe, sanitary facility; meeting sanitation goals and completing duties in a timely manner while upholding safety standards and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED preferred but not required
- Previous food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or effectively in a team environment
