Job Summary
Sanitation Operator III based in Nampa, ID, responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment to meet food safety standards; safely handling caustic and acidic cleaning chemicals; performing sanitizer verification (including swabbing) to confirm cleaning effectiveness; preparing lines for on-time production startup; inspecting equipment and work areas for food safety; maintaining a clean, safe work environment; communicating issues to supervisors; collaborating with team to support sanitation and production flow; and attending required meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Experience: 1–2 years in food manufacturing, sanitation, or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Experience with cleaning chemicals, PPE, sanitation equipment strongly preferred
- Specialized Knowledge: Basic knowledge of chemical handling, dilution, or sanitation procedures (SDS, labels, PPE); CIP/COP or foaming/spray sanitation a plus
- Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, physically demanding/repetitive work ability, reliable attendance, clear communication, follow instructions and safety guidelines, work both independently and as part of a team
- Safety: Ability to safely handle hazardous cleaning chemicals and follow established safety procedures
- Environment: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and addressing unsafe conditions
- Training: Attendance at required meetings and training sessions
