Job Summary
Conduct total plant sanitation, including routine cleaning of equipment and peripheral areas inside and outside buildings. Maintain sanitation equipment and ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory documentation standards. Track results using key measures for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale while actively participating in the Idea and Suggestion program for continuous improvement. Train new department employees and maintain daily work standards. This role requires a second shift from 4:00pm to 2:30am Monday through Thursday with potential overtime. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, basic math skills, SAP proficiency, and a forklift license, with the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Basic Math Skills required, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple fractions
- Pass Basic Computer Skills Assessment
- Continuing education/training in Sanitation will be provided and is mandatory
- Proficiency in SAP
- Safety and KSRMP
- GMP
- Fork trucks and obtain a License
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a 10-hour shift
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and other physical movements required to complete sanitation duties
- Must be able to work in tight areas, including confined spaces, while performing assigned job responsibilities
- Must be able to remain physically active for extended periods during the shift
- Must be willing to supply improvements, suggestions, and ideas to help continue the success of our facility
- Must be safety and quality orientated
- Must demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment
- Must be available for Second Shift - 4:00pm – 2:30am (Monday – Thursday)
- Overtime may be required as needed
