Job Summary
Maintain the Arcade facility in a clean, rodent, and pest-free state while meeting FDA, USDA, NYS Ag. & Markets, and other regulatory certification standards. Report any factors influencing feed and ingredient quality to the immediate supervisor and carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping assignments per the sanitation schedule. Fill in production positions when necessary. Perform duties as assigned by Plant Management. This role requires knowledge of OSHA safety, cGMPs, HACCP, and FSMA, along with the ability to lift 55 lbs. to 48 inches continually. The position is a 1st shift opportunity from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a starting wage of $19.00 an hour.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow
- Thorough understanding of cGMP's
- Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan
- Knowledge of FSMA
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 48 inches continually for the assigned period
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- High school diploma or GED
