Job Summary
Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned sections of the plant using specialized equipment and chemicals. Dismantle and reassemble machinery to ensure thorough cleaning, then inspect areas to confirm readiness for pre-op inspections. Handle cleaning chemicals safely while following all Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and HAZCOMM protocols. Work efficiently to complete tasks within established timelines while maintaining open communication with teammates and supervisors. This physical role requires continuous standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating high-pressure hoses in extreme temperature variances including hot, cold, wet, and noisy food manufacturing environments. Candidates must be available primarily for third-shift/overnight hours, including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to routinely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds independently
- Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, safety goggles, face shields, steel-toed boots, and chemical-resistant suits
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to industrial cleaning chemicals/fumes
- Requires close visual acuity
- Must be reliable and available to work primarily overnight shifts (third shift), including weekends and holidays
- Must be capable of working third-shift/overnight hours, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by plant operational schedules
- Must possess the fine motor skills, repetitive hand/wrist flexibility, and grip strength necessary to dismantle/reassemble complex machinery, scrub surfaces, and operate high-pressure water hoses or industrial cleaning equipment for extended periods
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
