Sanitation Technician

Sanitation Technician responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all facility areas to meet GFSI standards, including equipment such as harvesting and packaging lines; performs janitor duties as needed. Duties include disassembly/reassembly and sanitization of equipment, maintaining chemical inventory records, operating cleaning equipment (pressure sprayers, vacuums, floor scrubbers), measuring and mixing industrial cleaners, reporting malfunctions, overseeing waste handling, performing CIP/COP procedures, completing sanitation-related QA paperwork, conducting pre-operational inspections, interpreting environmental swab results, and training new hires on SSOPs, GMPs, PPE, and sanitation policies. Must adhere to GMP/HACCP, maintain sanitary conditions, and maintain product quality while fostering a positive work environment and performing other duties as assigned.
