Job Summary
Sanitation Technician (Full-time) in New York responsible for keeping the facility clean, safe, and ready to produce products. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, tools, and changeover parts; washing slats and parts using dishwashers, sinks, or spray hoses; labeling and storing cleaned items to prevent contamination; cleaning bathrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and other common areas; disposing of garbage; assisting with cleaning tasks in packaging or manufacturing areas; maintaining an organized work area; and following safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies. Must have basic English proficiency to follow verbal/written directions and policies. Key skills include comfort with computers/tablets, teamwork, dependability, and ability to read/write English. Onboarding occurs within the first week; role operates on a 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm) with potential overtime based on business needs. Hourly pay approx. $18.98, with Nestlé providing incentives and benefits. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0 - 1 years of experience; prior sanitation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and move throughout shift
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
