Job Summary
Ensure all production areas and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use by maintaining a safe environment according to GMP and Safety Guidelines. Disassemble, clean, and sanitize machinery while observing all safety rules. Identify and address product or processing problems, escalating issues to the Sanitation Lead when necessary. Prepare areas by organizing supplies and setting up safety equipment. Monitor and complete accurate paperwork. Work a multi-shift schedule from 2 PM to 12:30 AM Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of (food manufacturing) sanitation experience
- Able to work off-shifts when necessary
- Ability to use independent reasoning and judgment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of plant personnel (written and verbally)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements
- Able to work a multi shift environment
- Able to work M-TH 2PM-12:30 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
