Job Summary
Clean and sanitize production lines, equipment, floors, walls, and facility areas per SSOPs and the Master Cleaning Schedule. Operate cleaning equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, genie booms, and automated floor scrubbers while using chemicals safely. Perform self-inspections, document sanitation activities in logs, and report damage or unsafe conditions. Support food safety initiatives by identifying and reporting deviations, assist with packing and material handling, and follow all safety protocols and GMPs. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-training. This role supports B&G Foods' food safety and quality initiatives across its diverse portfolio of brands.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and chemical labels
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and reading comprehension
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- High school diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience
