Job Summary
Sanitation Technician responsible for maintaining cleanliness in a food processing environment by managing cleaning processes, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards, and conducting inspections for food safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment with exposure to dust, gas or fumes and cleaning chemicals.
- Must be willing to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Advanced knowledge of valve, pump, and instrumentation functionality.
- Advanced knowledge of CIP and sanitation functionalities.
- Familiarity with mechanical functions of all machines/equipment.
