Job Summary
Conduct daily sanitation of food processing equipment and facilities while preventing cross-contamination of products and surfaces. Adhere strictly to company Sanitation SOPs (SSOP) and GMPs, performing pre-inspections before supervisor approval and completing all required SQF documentation. Maintain cleaning carts, tools, and equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums, while wearing appropriate PPE and managing chemical concentrations safely. Lift up to 50lbs and work extended periods standing or walking. Work the 3rd shift (Saturday to Tuesday, 8PM to 6:30AM), though hours may change due to demand.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow instructions in English
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to use Step ladder/Ladder
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting in safe manner
- Able to lift-up to 50lbs
- Required to work 3rd shift, though hours may change due to demand, including weekends, or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Sanitation experience preferred
- Experience leading a team
- Must be able to Time Management control
- Follows all GMPs, Food Safety, SSOPs per assignments
- Ability to interact professionally with honesty and respect towards Management, coworkers
