Sanitation Technician - 3rd Shift

Sanitation Technician on 3rd shift responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. Duties include safely disassembling and reassembling equipment, rinsing to remove raw materials, applying foam/soap, sanitizing with appropriate methods and chemicals, removing moisture from pipes and ceilings, and verifying cleanliness against USDA and company sanitation standards. Use 5S principles to organize the work area, sanitize floors, and squeegee water into waste drains. Must understand the impact of sanitation on microbial counts and complete swab checks within acceptable limits. Requires basic math, strong teamwork and communication, ability to follow standard work instructions, and willingness to cross-train to other processing areas. Education/experience: High School Diploma or GED; sanitation experience preferred but not required (training provided). Physical requirements include frequent lifting and standing in a production environment; GMPs and safety protocols adherence emphasized.
