Job Summary
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie forklifts; conduct CIP and COP tank verifications for chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature. Perform full tear-downs of production equipment for sanitation, using foamers, steam hoses, and CIP systems to scrub facilities and verify cleanliness. Adhere strictly to GMPs, SSOPs, and safety rules while documenting checks and communicating food safety issues. Follow facility color coding and master sanitation schedules to assist line supervisors. Requires high school diploma, sanitation experience in food production, and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60lbs. 2nd shift (2pm–11pm) Monday–Friday with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Sanitation experience in a food production environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to the details
- Capable of following directions given
- Must have proficient manual dexterity
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to both hot and cold temperatures
- Standing 4-10 hours per day
- Walking 4-10 hours per day
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- Able to lift/carry up to 40lbs
- Able to push/pull up to 60lbs
- 2nd Shift - 2pm - 11pm Monday - Friday, OT as required
