Job Summary
Sanitation Technician - 2nd Shift responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, processing areas, and related tasks in a wet, hot environment, including washdowns, changeover cleaning, and deep-cleaning with approved chemicals; maintain sanitation logs and documentation; operate handling equipment such as forklifts for moving oil totes; ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, LOTO, and food-safety standards; collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams; lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties across shifts; requires following written procedures and weekend availability; on-the-job training provided and opportunities for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to read and follow written procedures
- Proven attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand that weekends are required for washdowns
- Forklift certification, primarily for moving oil totes, is a plus but not required
