Job Summary
Sanitize all plant equipment using chemicals and power washers while reading labels to ensure safe applications. Manually scrub machines with brushes or pads, clean floors with a scrubber, and pressure wash rugs. Disassemble equipment, clean overhead storage levels with a man lift, and remove garbage from floors. Inspect equipment to verify sanitation requirements are met and report any issues to the supervisor. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies while performing assigned tasks. Work the third shift from 9:00pm to 5:30am Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Basic understanding of sanitation processes and related equipment
- Ability to run sanitation equipment
- Ability to read, comprehend and communicate safety labels on chemical containers
- Ability to work overtime as needed with little or no notice
- Basic computer skills
