Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling egg processing equipment daily; works in GMP-compliant food manufacturing environment; handles chemicals and high-pressure cleaning equipment; maintains records and paperwork; reports to the Processing Supervisor; requires willingness to learn multiple related sanitation tasks; English and Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food plant sanitation experience desirable
- Training for egg specific equipment would be provided
- Familiarity with GMPs or equivalent practices desirable
- Speak English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of sanitation methods, chemical handling and use
- Knowledge of process control systems and food safety principles
